This course focuses on the changes introduced in ISO/IEC 17020:2026 and their impact on inspection bodies currently operating to ISO/IEC 17020:2012. Specifically, the course highlights revised, relocated, and removed requirements, the updated structure of the standard, and alignment with ISO/CASCO common elements.

In addition, the course addresses higher-impact and higher-risk areas, including inspection body classification (Type A and non-Type A), independence and impartiality, personnel competence, externally provided products and services, inspection methods and records, control of data and information, and management system requirements. Furthermore, participants examine how these changes affect existing management systems and inspection activities.  As a result, they gain a clearer understanding of how to maintain competence, consistency, and impartiality throughout the transition.
