Course Description:
Precision Flow Measurement develops the knowledge and professional judgment required to plan, perform, evaluate, and communicate reliable measurements of moving liquids and gases.
The course is organized around physical principles and measurement needs rather than individual meter technologies. Participants begin by distinguishing volumetric flow, mass flow, velocity, totalized quantity, and flow at defined reference conditions. They then examine how density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, compressibility, velocity profile, turbulence, installation, and operating state affect the complete measurement process.
