Course Description:

Dimensional Measurement: Surface Texture develops the knowledge and professional judgment required to plan, perform, evaluate, and communicate reliable measurements of manufactured surfaces.

The course is organized around product function and surface behavior rather than individual instrument controls. Participants examine how surface form, waviness, roughness, lay, and isolated imperfections influence product performance and how these characteristics are separated and evaluated through defined measurement methods.
